Meet Rhonda Bernstein, R.N.

What really makes Evolutions special is our wonderful employees.  When we started Evolutions Medical Spa back in 2005 we had 5 employees. We are now up to 30! They are all great people and they work very hard everyday to make your experience with Evolutions the best it can be. We’ll be highlighting two employees each month. 

Rhonda was the first employee hired when the Perkins family decided to start Evolutions Medical Spa over 13 years ago! She also works at Cottage Hospital (in the Oncology Unit), so she typically only works at Evolutions one half day per week, but she is a great aesthetic nurse and has an extremely loyal following.

What is the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had (prior to Evolutions)?

Flight Attendant…definitely provided interesting life experiences.

What do you like about working at Evolutions?

My patients!  After 13 years of working here, I now have hundreds of people I consider friends.

What is your favorite treatment to perform?  Why?

Neuromodulators (Dysport and Botox) for the (relatively) immediate results and the impact it has on my clients’ appearance and confidence.

What is your preferred treatment at Evolutions to have done?

Ultherapy – the results can be dramatic for the appropriate client.

What is your #1 home care product that is sold at Evolutions?  Why?

Luzern Force De Vie Creme Intensive. What they don’t list in the ingredient deck is the “magic” it contains. I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT IT!

What is your favorite quote / mantra / words of wisdom?

No matter what is going on in my life, I often hear my grandmother’s voice saying, “Lila, it could always be worse…”

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?

I’m a fanatic University of Michigan football follower! GO BLUE!!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I volunteer a ridiculous number of hours at my daughter’s school — but the days are long and the years are short. I also love watching her perform (sing/dance)
