Evolutions Employee Spotlight: Sue Manseau, R.N.P.
What really makes Evolutions special is our wonderful employees. When we started Evolutions Medical Spa back in 2005 we had 5 employees. We are now up to 30! They are all great people and they work very hard everyday to make your experience with Evolutions the best it can be. We are starting this feature to let you know a little bit more about the people that make up the Evolutions’ team. We’ll be highlighting two employees each month. This month we are highlighting our Nurse Practitioner, Sue Manseau and our longest tenured Massage Therapist, Gill Lainer.
Employee Profile – Sue Manseau, R.N.P.
In June of this year Sue will reach her 10 year anniversary of working at Evolutions! She is a dedicated clinician and is always focused on learning more about medical aesthetics. Sue has a background in Women’s health and is a calming force on our clinical staff and for all of her clients.
What is the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had (prior to Evolutions)?
I worked as a lifeguard at a motel one summer when I was a teenager. There was a ping pong table next to the pool and I’d challenge and beat most of the guys who wanted to play. I did also watch the swimmers in the pool!
What do you like about working at Evolutions?
Evolutions is a wonderful place to work. It’s a small, family owned business and we’re all treated like family. We have very high medical standards and pride ourselves in offering excellent customer service. It’s a very beautiful work environment. I really enjoy our clients and have known a lot of them for years. I have the opportunity to get to know them well and that’s very special. The staff is fantastic. We all like each other and work well together.
What is your favorite treatment to perform? Why?
I really like fillers and Dysport. These treatments can create an immediate effect and make a person look more rested and youthful. Intense Pulse Light is a terrific treatment for the right person and can have an incredible effect on photo damage and make the skin look radiant.
What is your preferred treatment at Evolutions to have done?
I enjoy receiving fillers. I also love all the facials and massages provided in the Day Spa.
What is your #1 home care product sold at Evolutions? Why?
I like the Nia 24 products, particularly the Rapid Exfoliating Serum. My skin improved a lot in a short period of time when I started using the Nia products.
What is your favorite quote / mantra / words of wisdom?
I really like the book The Prophet by Khalil Gibran. “Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror. But you are eternity and you are the mirror.”
What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I was a classical pianist, on a girl’s city basketball league and won a few beauty contests in college. I also won a ping pong trophy on a cruise ship and I still have the trophy.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love the beach, scary movies and trying new restaurants.
